When Brilliant is powered on for the first time, it will take a moment to initialize before launching a step-by-step configuration process. Please complete the entire process in order to properly setup your Brilliant.
Brilliant works best when connected to Wi-Fi that has an Internet connection. This enables the device to work with other smart home products, and allows you to control it from the mobile app and receive updated features automatically.
Although you can use Brilliant without Wi-Fi or an Internet connection, it will be primarily be limited to light adjustment capabilities if you do not connect to Wi-Fi.
Once you're connected, you'll name the light that Brilliant is connected to. Enter a name to distinguish it from others in your room such as “Entryway.” Then, enter the room location of the light, such as the "Bedroom" or "Living Room."
You can edit the names of the rooms by tapping on the Pencil symbol. Once you have entered the name of the light and room, tap on Next to Continue.
Follow the directions on your screen and proceed through the questions to complete the setup.
