Brilliant Command Center Alerts quickly make property managers aware of important issues that need to be addressed at their properties or units.
Where can I find active alerts in the Brilliant Command Center?
Active alerts for your organization’s Brilliant Command Center account will appear in the Alert Center view and (if applicable) on any units where an issue related to an active alert occurred.
To view active alerts in the alert center:
- Log in to your Brilliant account on the Brilliant Command Center.
- Click on the alerts icon in the navigation bar (if there are active alerts the number of alerts will be displayed on the icon).
- Click on an active alert to view more information about the specific alert.
To view specific units with active alerts:
- Log in to your Brilliant account on the Brilliant Command Center.
- Select the building to view the building’s units.
- Filter the list of units for the selected building for “Units with Alerts” (units with alerts will be displayed with an alert tag).
- Click on a unit with an active alert to view more information about the specific alert.
An active alert will appear in the Alert Center and on any relevant units as soon Brilliant identifies the relevant issue. Once the relevant issue is resolved, Brilliant will automatically remove the corresponding alert from the alert center and any relevant units.
How can I be notified of active alerts?
Brilliant can be configured to automatically send you email and text notifications when there are active alerts for a property in the Brilliant Command Center.
Notification preferences for your Brilliant account can be configured separately for each property from the Alert Preferences page on the Brilliant Command Center.
To manage your account's alert notification preferences:
- Log in to your Brilliant account on the Brilliant Command Center.
- Click on the account icon and select Alert Preferences from the dropdown.
- Select a property from the dropdown.
- View and/or update your notification preferences for the selected building.
For each active alert, Brilliant will send you two notifications:
- The first notification indicates that the issue related to the alert was detected.
- The second notification indicates that the issue related to the alert was resolved.
