What is the vacant unit home passcode?
Brilliant home passcodes are four digit codes used to authorize modifications to the devices in each of your units from the Brilliant mobile application or on the Brilliant control. All vacant units in your organization are assigned a default home passcode associated with your Brilliant Command Center account.
Residents are prompted to provide their own personal home passcode for their unit when they move in to use while the unit is occupied. When the resident moves out, the unit's home passcode will revert back to the default home passcode while the unit is occupied.
How can I recover the default home passcode for my Brilliant Command Center organization?
Please reach out to your Brilliant contact if you have forgotten your organization's default home passcode.
How does a resident create a new home passcode for their unit?
The resident will be asked to create a new home passcode for their unit when they first login on the Brilliant mobile application.
Residents can also change their home passcode at any time by tapping Change Home Passcode under Privacy Settings in the Brilliant mobile application or on a Brilliant control in their unit, or by tapping Forgot Passcode whenever prompted for the home passcode.
