Using the Brilliant mobile app you can invite your family members, roommates, and friends to access and control your Brilliant smart home system with their own personal Brilliant accounts.
How do I add other people to my Brilliant Home?
You can add other people to your Brilliant Home from the Brilliant mobile app.
To add another person, start by sending them an invite:
1. Open the Brilliant mobile app and tap the gear icon in the upper left to open settings.
2. Tap Brilliant Home and Devices.
3. Under Household, tap Invite.
4. Enter the email address of the person you wish to add and tap Send Invite.
After you invite someone to your Brilliant Home, they will receive an email notifying them and allowing them to accept the invite. If they haven't previously created a Brilliant account, they will also be prompted to create a Brilliant account when accepting the invite to use for logging in on the Brilliant mobile app.
Once someone has accepted an invite to your Brilliant Home, they will be able to access your Brilliant Home from the My Homes screen after logging in on the Brilliant mobile app. If they have also joined other Brilliant Homes, they can switch between their Brilliant Homes by following the instructions in Switching Homes on your mobile app.
| PLEASE NOTE If you originally set up your Brilliant Home before May 2023, then you may need to verify your Brilliant account information in the mobile app before you can invite other people to your Brilliant Home as described above. If the mobile app does not automatically prompt you to verify your account information, you can do so by navigating to Settings > My Profile > Verify Your Account and following the on-screen instructions. |
How do I see other people that have been added to my Brilliant Home?
All users added to Brilliant Home can be managed on the Brilliant mobile app.
To view the users in your Brilliant Home:
1. Open the Brilliant mobile app and tap the gear icon in the upper left to open settings.
2. Tap Brilliant Home and Devices.
3. Select any of the users listed under Household to view that user's account information.
