Follow the steps below to troubleshoot your Genie garage door opener:

• Check if the vacation lock is on.
• Check if the device is in wifi configuration mode (yellow light is on). Wait until the light turns red or green.
• Confirm if there was a recent factory reset. If so, delete the door and start over.
• Check if device firmware updates are in progress.
• If none of the above applies, your safety beam may be broken. Please ensure that one of your safety beams has a solid green light and the other has a solid red light. If the LEDs are off you may have a broken wire. If the red light is flashing, the beams are blocked or not aligned.
