How to enter Recovery Mode

If your Brilliant is unable to boot successfully or if you are instructed to reset the device:

• Hold down the reset button at the bottom of the faceplate (with a pin) for at least 5 seconds before letting go.
• During this 5 second time period, the screen should NOT light up or turn on.
• If you're seeing it light up / turn on that means the button was let go too early or isn't getting held down correctly.

While in Recovery Mode

You will enter the recovery mode.

When the button is depressed, you will see a screen similar to below:

At this point, you can either restart the control and attempt to enter your usual Brilliant experience OR Factory Reset. 

If you decide to do a Factory Reset of your Brilliant, you will see a confirmation screen similar to the one below:

If you decide to begin a Factory Reset, your Brilliant will restore to the original factory settings.  The device will automatically restart upon completion. During this process, you will see a screen similar to the one below:
