Advanced Device Settings
As of the v19.04.10 release, you have the ability to do the following actions from your Brilliant Control:
- Remove or "Hide" your Device: Use this if you have a device that you want to remove from your home and would like it to never appear again unless requested.
- Reset Device Settings: Use this if you want to reset the settings on the device and have it re-appear the next time you attempt to discover it or when Brilliant runs auto-discovery of third-party devices.
- Reset your Device Name: Reset your device name to the original name from the manufacturer's app. See more here.
Remove or "Hide" your Device
Please use this feature if you have a device that you want to remove from your home and would like it to never appear again unless requested.
This is available on the Brilliant Control AND on the Mobile App.
Remove a device from the Device List
- On the home screen, tap the "Home" button in the bottom tray.
- Visit the room your device is in.
- Tap on the pencil icon in the top right.
- Tap on the "trash" icon next to the device and confirm you would like to remove the device from your Home

- Visit the room your device is in.
- Tap on the pencil icon in the top right.
- Tap on the pencil icon to enter Device Settings
- Under Device Settings, you will see a section that says "Remove Device"
- Tap on "Remove Device" and confirm you would like to remove the device from your home.
Access Removed Devices
You can rediscover Removed Devices from two locations:
- When you go through the Add Device Flow (Home --> [Select Room] --> Add Devices), you will see a tab for "Removed" devices where you can re-add devices as you choose.
- If you visit Settings --> Works with Brilliant --> [Select Integration] --> View Removed Devices, you will see a list of removed devices for that integration.

- On the home screen, tap the "Home" button in the bottom tray.
- Visit the room your device is in.
- Tap on the pencil icon in the top right.
- Tap on the pencil icon to enter Device Settings
- Under Device Settings, you will see a section that says "Reset Device Settings"
- Tap on "Reset Device Settings" and confirm you would like to remove the device from your home.

So the problem is I had a panel that was defective. so I took it out and installed the new one. But now I can't delete the pad as its' not connected?
Quick update. the device is "offline" i.e. its gone. so the settings in the app will not allow me to edit or delete it.
I don't see the "Trash" icon.
