What is a Home Passcode?

Brilliant offers the primary administrators of a smart home to set up a passcode that can be used for verifying your administrative capabilities quickly for privacy or configuration related features such as Remote Video Access, and Configuration/Child Lock settings. 

When do you usually set it up?

When setting up a new home, setting up a passcode is required. This passcode will not be required to be entered, however, unless you attempt to access Privacy Settings OR a configuration is enabled Privacy Settings.  

How can I change it?

You can tap on Change Home Passcode and follow the instructions on your screen. You will be asked to verify your identity before doing so.
