Resetting an integration is primarily used for the below cases:
- You are instructed by support to reset an integration to resolve any potential issues you are experiencing.
- You have set up an integration with an incorrect login (ex. Ring, SmartThings, etc..) and would like to change it.
Re-linking an account is used for the below cases:
- You want to re-link the integration and maintain the configuration for the connected devices so you don't have to re-assign the devices to their respective rooms again.
- You need to re-authorize your integration account to authorize new devices to connect to Brilliant.
How do I reset an integration?
- Go to Settings > Works with Brilliant
- Tap on the Integration that you would like to reset.
- Tap on the button for Reset Integration
- Tap to confirm
- Your Integration should reset shortly and you will be able to visit Rooms > [Select a Room] > Add Devices to set up a new integration.
How do I re-link an integration?
- Go to Settings > Works with Brilliant
- Tap on the Integration that you would like to re-link.
- Tap on the button for Re-link Account
- Tap to confirm
- Your account should be re-linked shortly and you will be able to add any newly discovered devices.
