Troubleshooting PoE Controls:

Power & Ethernet Connectivity:

  • If you have unplugged the ethernet cable and plugged it back in, the Control will attempt to connect to wifi, but after a minute or two it should detect the ethernet connectivity automatically.
  • If you have removed the faceplate from the back plate and re-seeded the faceplate, the Control will attempt to connect to wifi, but after a minute or two it should detect the ethernet connectivity automatically.

Wired Control and PoE:

2-Switch Control Faceplates are interchangeable between Wired Controls and PoE, but must be reset prior to swapping between the two backplates.

NOTE: If the faceplate was formerly connected to a Wired Control back, you MUST have Reset All Settings (Settings > Advanced Settings)  before it will work with the PoE back.
