The Control or the Mobile app says “PIN does not match”. What does this mean?

  • It means that you have entered your TC 2.0 passcode incorrectly. If you forgot your passcode, please reset your passcode on the TC 2.0 website. If you believe you have entered the correct passcode, please contact Brilliant Customer Support.

The Control says my system is in an unsupported state. What does this mean?

  • It means that your system currently cannot be disarmed from the Brilliant Control. Please try disarming from the TC 2.0 panel or your TC 2.0 mobile app.

The Control says “Something went wrong. Please try again.“ when I try to disarm. What does this mean?

  • It means that while you may have entered the correct password, something else went wrong in the connection. If the error persists after a few tries, please contact Brilliant Customer Support.

The Mobile app says “We could not perform this action“. What does this mean?

  • It means that something went wrong in the connection. If the error persists after a few tries, please contact Brilliant Customer Support.

The Control or the Mobile app says “Disarmed Not Ready“. What does this mean?

  • It means that 1 or more sensors in your system are open. You cannot currently bypass sensors to arm the system on a Brilliant platform. Please head to the Resideo Security Panel if you would like to arm your system.
