Introducing Home Mode, Brilliant’s newest smart home automation feature to the Brilliant Max subscription. Home Mode is your customizable smart home automation that can automatically set up your smart home routine for day and night. Setting your home to home mode allows you to set your home routines for your daily life.
How It Starts
Home Mode can be triggered when:
- By tapping the mode Home Mode on your mobile app or Brilliant Control
- When you arrive home by setting a trigger for your mobile phone’s location
- As part of a set schedule for certain days and times
- When it is set as the default mode of your home
You can exit Home Mode when:
- By tapping Home Mode in the Brilliant mobile app or control panel to deactivate it
- When your preconfigured mobile devices are no longer detected in your home’s location
- When it has been configured as part of a schedule set for certain days and times of the week.
What It Does:
Home Mode is designed to set custom settings by suggesting smart home automations while you are at home.
- Setting the thermostat to your desired temperatures
- Categorizing rooms to build smarter home automations
- Using motion sensors to turn lights on and off based on your home's needs.
- Creating a smarter HVAC system that pairs with Shelly Window and Door sensors to automatically set your desired temperature based on windows and doors being left open
- Scheduling your shades to open and close based on factors like weather and thermostat usage.
- Automatically creating a Night Time Setting that would dim specified lights in certain rooms
