Troubleshooting when your Smart Dimmer and Plug are offline

If your Brilliant Switch and Plug are showing up as offline, we recommend the following:

  1. Was your Brilliant Switch or Plug being updated? If so, it may be in the process of finishing the update process. Learn more about the mesh network update process here.
  2. How long has your device been offline? If it has been longer than a day, we recommend you take out the safety disconnect and reattach in order to restart the switch and have it reconnect to your Brilliant Smart Home System.
