If a leak is detected in your home, an alert will be provided in the Brilliant Alert Center and the device status for the device(s) sensing the leak will change to "Leak Detected". Please check your device's location promptly as there may be a significant leak. 

In order to revert the device status back to its normal state on Brilliant, please address the leak accordingly, wipe the device dry, and place the leak detector back in its original position. You should see the temperature and humidity once again.

High Temperature

If a high temperature is detected in your home (set by you in your Resideo app), an alert will be provided in the Brilliant Alert Center, the device status for the device(s) sensing the high temperature will change to "High Temperature", and the Temperature font color will change to Orange. Please check your device's location for any unusual activity. 

In order to revert the device status back to its normal state on Brilliant, please address the event accordingly (or change your settings in your Resideo app) and place the leak detector back in its original position. The temperature font color should return to white and the device status should no longer show "High Temperature".

Low Temperature

If a low temperature is detected in your home (set by you in your Resideo app), an alert will be provided in the Brilliant Alert Center, the device status for the device(s) sensing the low temperature will change to "Low Temperature", and the Temperature font color will change to Orange. Please check your device's location for any unusual activity. 

In order to revert the device status back to its normal state on Brilliant, please address the event accordingly (or change your settings in your Resideo app) and place the leak detector back in its original position. The temperature font color should return to white and the device status should no longer show "Low Temperature".

Attention Needed

If a high or low temperature AND high humidity are detected in your home (set by you in your Resideo app), an alert will be provided in the Brilliant Alert Center, the device status for the device(s) sensing the high or low temperature AND high humidity will change to "Attention Needed", and both the Temperature and Humidity font color will change to Orange. Please check your device's location for any unusual activity. 

In order to revert the device status back to its normal state on Brilliant, please address the event accordingly (or change your settings in your Resideo app) and place the leak detector back in its original position. The temperature and humidity font color should return to white and the device status should no longer show "Attention Needed".

Low Battery

If your Resideo Water Leak & Freeze Detector device(s) battery is running low, the device status will change to "Low Battery". Please replace your device's batteries promptly as your device will go offline. 

 

 

Additional Options and Troubleshooting for your Resideo Water Leak & Freeze Detector with Brilliant 

  • Please visit Advanced Settings for your device to hide or reset your Honeywell Home configuration in your Brilliant home. 
  • If you have issues with your entire Honeywell Home Integration, please try resetting the entire integration and re-adding your device to your Brilliant home.
