Sunset and Sunrise

Select Sunrise or Sunset as an option for time for your Scenes, Display or Motion Settings on your Brilliant Smart Home Control.

Please make sure that your Home Location is set to use this feature. 

 

Scenes

The following instructions will show you how to select Sunrise or Sunset as an option for the time for when a Scene should execute. You may choose it as a time option for a new or existing Scene. 

          

Control Instructions

  1. Go to Scenes 
  2. Edit an existing scene or create a new scene 
    • If it is a new scene, add an action before moving on to the next step.
  3. Tap the "Set Time" button
  4. Tap the "Set Time" button on the Set Time screen
  5. Tap "Sunrise" or "Sunset"
    •  Note: If you have not set up your Home Location, you can choose to set it up here.
  6. Optional: Select a "Time Offset" to execute the scene before/after Sunrise/Sunset
  7. Tap "Apply"

  1. Go to Scenes 
  2. Edit an existing scene or create a new scene 
    1. If it is a new scene, add an action before moving on to the next step.
  3. Tap the "Set Time" button 
  4. Tap "Sunrise" or "Sunset"
    •  Note: If you have not set up your Home Location, you can choose to set it up here.
  5. Optional: Select a "Time Offset" to execute the scene before/after Sunrise/Sunset
  6. Tap "Save"   


Display Settings 

Use the Sunrise and Sunset feature to turn on/off your display. Follow these steps to select Sunrise or Sunset as an option for Display Settings:

  1. Go to Settings 
  2. Tap "Display" settings 
  3. Tap the time next to "Start Time" or "End Time"                                
  4. Tap "Sunrise" or "Sunset"
    • Note: If you have not set up your Home Location, you can choose to set it up here.
  5. Optional: Tap "Time Offset" to select a time before/after Sunrise/Sunset
  6. Tap "Apply"

              

Motion Settings 

Use the Sunrise and Sunset feature for Motion Settings. Follow these steps to select Sunrise or Sunset as an option for Motion Settings:

  1. Go to Settings 
  2. Tap "Motion" settings 
  3. Tap the time next to "Start Time" or "End Time"
  4. Tap "Sunrise" or "Sunset"
    •  Note: If you have not set up your Home Location, you can choose to set it up here.
  5. Optional: Tap "Time Offset" to select a time before/after Sunrise/Sunset
