How to connect your Resideo Total Connect 2.0 System to Brilliant

Brilliant currently supports arming and disarming your Total Connect 2.0 Security System in 3 modes: Arm Home, Arm Away, and Disarm on the ProSeries Panel. You can also add your Resideo Z-Wave lights, switches, plugs, locks, garage door openers, and partner scenes to Brilliant as well as enjoy the live view of your C0, C1, and C2 cameras. The Skybell and the VX1 HD doorbell are also supported for you to view any guests at the door and control any paired device such as a lock and a security system. 

Setting up Total Connect 2.0 System

Before you begin to set up, make sure your Total Connect 2.0 devices and Brilliant Control are connected to Wi-Fi.

 

Note: Total Connect 2.0 devices can be added via the Brilliant Control or the Brilliant Mobile App.

  1. Tap "Add Device" tab on the bottom of Home Screen. 

  2. Tap "Total Connect 2.0".

  3. Tap “Continue“ to receive a link in your Brilliant home email.

  4. Click on the link and log into your Total Connect 2.0 account on the webpage.

  5. Select the devices you wish to connect with Brilliant and select “Automation“ if you would like to integrate Z-Wave devices. Click “Connect“.

  6. Once the authorization is successful, return to the Brilliant Control to tap “Continue“.

  7. Tap all the Total Connect 2.0 devices you would like to add to the Brilliant home.

  8. Select the rooms that you would like to add each device to.

  9. For each Total Connect 2.0 Security System added, you will be asked to select the Control(s) you’d like as part of the Daily Experience*. This is to set up your Security widget as shown below.

Additional Options and Troubleshooting for your Total Connect 2.0 device on Brilliant

  • Please visit Advanced Settings for your device to remove or reset your Total Connect 2.0 configuration on your Brilliant. 

  • If you have issues with your entire Total Connect 2.0 Integration, please try resetting the entire integration and re-adding your devices to your Brilliant. 

  • To re-assign rooms for your Total Connect 2.0 devices, follow instructions here.
